High Marginal Tax rates with ZERO nominal tax rates for ITC, Investment Tax Credits and other tax incentives to invest in PRODUCTIVITY and not just, ivory tower useless capital formations according to economic studies. Also tariffs and duties at least as biased as the 1950's are required so to maximize the general standard of living, as it grower an annual 3%-4% per year. Maximum social and political incentives are necessary to turn the USA economy to have sustainable growth instead of building toward a third world economy that may result in 50% reduction of GDP over the next fifty years. Capital Gains Taxes should be ELIMINATED ONLY WHEN USED AS PRODUCTIVITY INVESTMENT IN MANUFACTURING in USA GDP. Capital gains should be taxed as it almost has no or little benefit for the future prosperity of the USA. It is ONLY when CAPITAL GAINS ARE invested AS TAX CREDITS in USA GDP VENTURE CAPITAL investments, Research and Development and Manufacturing Productivity, does it have any meaningful long lasting impact growing the economy, improving prosperity and helping people's lives and the general standard of living. CAPITAL GAINS TAXES SHOULD ONLY BE ELIMINATED when invested in new USA manufacturing and USA made plant equipment. Extreme bias to turn the USA back to building a prosperous future so it may be the global leader and police terrorism as necessary. In summary Capital Gains Taxes eliminated when the Capital Gains money is invested in additional manufacturing productivity. For example, if capital gains (the difference from the original price and the final sale price of the stock or property) realized at the sale equal the same amount of corporate manufacturing productivity invested in new plant and equipment, then the amount owed in taxes would be ZERO dollars.
The Value Added Taxes and Sales Taxes are embarrassingly stupid are made to hurt economic consumption and the GDP.
Do not be surprised, as most people are NOT Christians and NOT helpful to making a better future to the nation. As Jesus said, "Many are called and few are chosen." The USA must run a trade surplus in order to have a generally rising standard of living. Running a consistent trade deficit brings the "chains of slavery" of poverty.
