How Do I Know I Am A Christian?
How Do I Have Assurance That I Am Saved?
"Whosoever Shall Call Upon The Name of the Lord [Jesus Name] Shall Be Saved" is found in Romans 10:13.
Do you call upon the Name of the Lord Jesus to be saved daily? If you do call upon His Name daily to be saved from your sins, you are saved if you repent of your sins with the HELP of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Amen
Acts 4:12 states that Salvation is found in NO ONE ELSE, as there is NO OTHER NAME under Heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
Jesus is the only source of salvation from the sinful nature of mankind. The world teaches that the sinful nature of man is good, while the Bible, the Word of God, teaches that the Adamic nature of man is bad and sometimes evil.
God's Name is HOLY, and God performs His WORD through the power in His Name of Jesus.
And through putting your FAITH in God that God has put in each one of you, as Scripture has written:
"You are the Temple of God." Put your faith in God that dwells in each Christian.
John 3:16 “For God LOVED the world in this way:
He gave His One and Only Son,
so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
Romans 10:9–10 “If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED. One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation." "In the mouth and tongue is the power of life and death."
Genesis 15:6 "Then Abram believed in the LORD; and He credited it to him as righteousness."
Just as Abraham listened to and obeyed the Voice of God and Jesus, so the same is true in the New Testament to listen to the Holy Spirit, as Jesus has COMMANDED, "My Sheep Hear My Voice." Christians are COMMANDED to learn to listen to the Voice of God.
John 10:27 "My sheep LISTEN to My Voice; I know them, and they follow Me.
28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish.
No one can snatch them out of My Hand." No one, no power, can take you out of the Hand of God. You need to put your faith in God that you dwell in the Hand of God.
As long as you listen to the Voice of Jesus and are being led by His Holy Spirit, then you are being saved, and you will inherit eternal life and rejoice forever if you endure to the end.
That does NOT mean your personal beliefs, theology and everything else is perfectly accurate and holy in your lives, but as long as you HEAR The Voice of Jesus, He HEARS you and COMMANDS you to "follow Him" and then you will eventually hear the Voice of the Archangel and rise from the earth to inherit eternal life in the RESURRECTION (1Thessalonians 4:16; 1Corinthians 15:52).
1John 5:13 "I have written these things to you who believe in the Name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life."
God reveals His character and power in His Name(s), including salvation and healing.
1John 5:13 is written so that you know for a fact that you are a Christian. "I have written these things to you who believe in the Name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life." Believe in the POWER of the NAME of JESUS so you will have the assurance that you are being SAVED!
Galatians 2:20
And I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. [Appeal, identify to God as Jesus His Son Who is dwelling in you.] The life I now live in the body, I live by FAITH in the Son of God, who LOVED me and gave Himself for me." As Christians daily are being conformed into the "image and likeness" (Genesis 1:26) of God's Son Jesus and fellowship "Face to face" with Him daily, you will inherit eternal life in the New Jerusalem. Daily, intimate, fellowship with Him by "seeing the Face of Jesus" in your Spirit is God's eternal desire. As Jesus said, "To see Me is to see the Father."
2Cor. 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, and look, new things have come." Have faith in God, the New Nature of Christ is the real you, and do not fall back into the old nature.
Ephesians 2:8–9 "For you are saved by grace through FAITH, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift — not from WORKS, so that no one can boast." It is a matter of life and death to put your faith in each other, BECOMING ONE, in the Body of Christ, so you may be saved.
The Salvation of Jesus is God's Grace and His Gift to each one of you.
Matthew 7:16–20 "You’ll recognize them by their fruit.
Are grapes gathered from thorn bushes or figs from thistles?
In the same way, every GOOD tree produces GOOD fruit, but a bad tree produces bad fruit.
A GOOD tree can’t produce bad fruit;
Neither can a bad tree produce GOOD fruit.
Every tree that doesn’t produce GOOD fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So you’ll recognize them by their fruit." So also God recognizes you in the Body of Christ as Jesus His Son.
The "Fruit of the Spirit" refers to nine attributes that reflect abiding in the Holy Spirit of Jesus, Who is the Vine of eternal Life as described in Galatians 5:22-23.
These developing spiritual attributes of God’s Spirit in your spirit are God's LOVE, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, FAITHFULNESS, gentleness, and self-control.
The phrase "God is LOVE" comes from 1John 4:8 and 4:16, emphasizing that His LOVE is not just an attribute of God but is central to His very nature, His very Being.
EVERYTHING God does is motivated by His LOVE, and believers are called to reflect, mirror the likeness of Jesus, and to express His supernatural, sacrificial agape love of Christ flowing in their own lives (1Cor. 13:12 Gk mirror-obscurely the spiritual Face of Jesus).
1John 4:19 "We love because He first loved us. 20 If anyone says, “I love God,” but hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. 21 And we have this COMMANDMENT from Him: Whoever loves God must LOVE his brother as well." Do you love or hate your brother? You must LOVE one another as God has commanded, or you will NOT inherit eternal life with Jesus.
James 2:14–26 "What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has FAITH but does not have WORKS? Can his FAITH save him?
If a brother or sister is without clothes and lacks daily food and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, keep warm, and eat well,” but you don’t give them what the body needs, what good is it?
In the same way, FAITH, if it doesn’t have WORKS, is dead by itself.
But someone will say, “You have FAITH, and I have WORKS.”
Show me your FAITH without WORKS, and I will show you FAITH from my WORKS. [Do the WORKS God prepared for you to do from the foundation of the world!]
You believe that God is one; you do well.
The demons also believe—and they shudder.
Foolish man!
Are you willing to learn that FAITH without WORKS is useless?
Wasn’t Abraham our father justified by WORKS when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?
You see that FAITH was active together with his WORKS, and by WORKS, FAITH was perfected.
So the Scripture was fulfilled that says, Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him for righteousness, and he was called God’s friend.
You see that a man is justified by WORKS [actions] and not by FAITH alone.
And in the same way, wasn’t Rahab the prostitute also justified by WORKS when she received the messengers and sent them out by a different route?
For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also FAITH without WORKS is dead."
God commands Christians to do the works that God has prepared for them to do, the works of God and Jesus created from the foundation of Heaven and Earth.
Genesis 2:1 "Thus the Heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.
2 And by the Seventh Day God had finished the work He had been doing; so on that day He RESTED from all His WORK.
3 Then God blessed the Seventh Day and SANCTIFIED it, because on that day He rested from all the WORK of creation that He had accomplished."
God completed His WORK with the foreknowledge of those He foreknew and prepared everything for every kind of work necessary for spiritual development to be "conformed into the image of Christ His Son."
Romans 8:29 ""For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be CONFORMED to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers."
1John 2:3–6 "This is how we are sure [assured] that we have come to know Him: BY KEEPING HIS COMMANDS. The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” yet doesn’t keep His COMMANDS, is a liar, and THE TRUTH [Jesus is the Truth] John 14:6] is not in him.
But whoever keeps His WORD, truly in him the LOVE of God is perfected.
This is how we know [have the assurance] we are in Him:
The one who says he remains in Him should walk just as He walked."
Rom. 8:16 "The Spirit Himself testifies together with our spirit that we are God’s children."
Gal. 5:22–23 "But the fruit of the Spirit is LOVE, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, FAITH, gentleness, self-control. Against such things, there is no law."
To bear the Holy Spirit's spiritual fruits is God's Command for you to grow into the "image and likeness of God"] as you pray to the Father for more of His Holy Spirit to flow from Him, ["rivers of life flowing out" of your innermost being John 7:38-39] as you remain abiding in Him, and asking for more of the Holy Spirit to come into your heart. "Be filled to overflowing" with the Holy Spirit daily is God's desire for all Christians (Ephesians 5:18).
1John 4:15 "Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God
— God remains in him and he [remains] in God."
John 14:15 “If you LOVE Me, you will keep My COMMANDS."
1John 3:14 "We know that we have passed from death to life because we LOVE our brothers.
The one who does not LOVE remains in death." Ask God the Father in Jesus' Name for His LOVE to flow through you to others.
Rom 8:9 "You, however, are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, since the Spirit of God lives in you.
But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him."
Jesus said, "You shall be my witnesses."
Are you a witness of Jesus?
Do you see Jesus as God gives you the grace to see God, our Father, through the Face of His Son (1Corinthians)? 13:12?
Are you praying daily to see His Face and be a witness to what His Holy Spirit leads you to do? You should be! Amen.
John 13:35 "By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have [Holy Spirit] LOVE for one another.” Jesus commanded, "Let your Light shine" out into the dark spiritual world to others (Matthew 5:16).
John 1:4 "In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."
1John 5:1–5 "Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Messiah has been born of God, and everyone who LOVES the Father also LOVES the one born of Him.
This is how we know that we LOVE God’s children when we LOVE God and obey His COMMANDS.
For this is what LOVE for God is: to keep His COMMANDS.”
“Now His COMMANDS are not a burden, because whatever has been born of God conquers the world.
This is the victory that has conquered the world: our FAITH.
And who is the one who conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?"
If you believe in Jesus, you will conquer the spiritual world by faith, just as the early Christians in the Roman Empire also did.
God and King Jesus' COMMANDS are to be obeyed, or there will be consequences.
Col 1:27 "God wanted to make known among the Gentiles the glorious wealth of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” As you draw near to God in Jesus' Name, God will draw near to you, and you will begin to intimately know “Christ the hope of glory.”
1Corinthians 12:3 "Therefore I am informing you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, 'Jesus is cursed,' and no one can say, 'Jesus is Lord,' except by the Holy Spirit."
Romams 8:14–15 "All those led by God’s Spirit are God’s sons.” If you are obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit, then you will have spiritual assurance so you will know that you are being saved and will inherit eternal life if you endure to the end.”
“For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father!”
True Christians will spiritually feel that God the Father is our Father and feel the intimate spiritual LOVE God The Father is willing to give you.
1Pet 1:8–9 "You LOVE Him, though you have not seen Him.
And though not seeing Him now, you believe in Him and rejoice with inexpressible and glorious joy, because you are receiving the goal of your FAITH, the salvation of your souls."
You should feel that you are "A New Creation in Jesus," being delivered from the power of sin and from the kingdom of darkness as you repent of sin and ask God to see Him through the Face of Jesus (1 Cor. 13:12). As long as Christians see the Face of Jesus and hear His Voice they have the assurance that they are being saved and will inherit eternal life.
Philippians 1:6 "I am sure of this, that He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." "God is faithful," and He will carry out His WORK and complete it in you.
1John 3:1 "Look at how great a LOVE the Father has given us that we should be called God’s children.” And we are God's Children!
John 1:3 "Through Him [Jesus the Son of God] ALL things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made.
In Him was LIFE, and that LIFE was the LIGHT of men.
5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” The spiritually vibrant Life of Jesus in Christians is evidence of having eternal life and that your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
Let the Light of God and Jesus shine out through you to others! Jesus commands it.
Jesus said, "Let your Light shine" as a "city on a Hill (Mt. 5:16).
2Tim 1:7 "For God has not given us a spirit of fearfulness, but one of power, LOVE, and sound judgment.” To be saved from spirits of fear, ask God the Father to see the Face of Jesus, through Whom you will experience a Face-to-Face relationship with God the Father, which is what He desires from you for all eternity.
1John 4:7–8 "Dear friends, let us LOVE one another, because LOVE is from God, and everyone who LOVES has been born of God and knows God."
The one who does not LOVE does not know God because God is LOVE."
As you pray to God the Father of Jesus for His LOVE to flow out of you, as spiritual "rivers of life," others will also feel it and appreciate God's LOVE flowing from you. This is also a sign that you have eternal life and your salvation from sin through Jesus, as you become a “slave of righteousness” (Romans 6:18).
Romans 6:11–14 "So, you too consider yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
Therefore, do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its desires.
And do not offer any parts of it to sin as weapons for unrighteousness.
But as those who are alive from the dead, offer yourselves to God, and all the parts of yourselves to God as weapons for righteousness.
For sin will not rule over you, because you are not under law but under [God's] grace through Jesus."
As you pray to God the Father to see the Face of Jesus, and as you repent of all of your sins of omission and commission, you while seeing the Face of Jesus, you will then feel the weight of sin and temptations diminish, spirits backing off, as they are removed from your life in your daily prayers.
Matthew 11:12 "From the days of John the Baptist until now the Kingdom of Heaven has suffered VIOLENCE, and the VIOLENT take it by FORCE."
Sometimes, EVERYONE will find it necessary to FORCE THEIR WAY INTO "Holy of Holies" to see the Face of Jesus! It is a matter of spiritual life and death to see the Face of Jesus to be successful in spiritual warfare.
Ephesians 6:12 "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but [violently] against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places."
2Corinthians 10:3-4 "For though we walk in the flesh, we are not WAGING WAR according to the flesh. For the weapons of our WARFARE are not of the flesh but have DIVINE POWER TO DESTROY STRONGHOLDS."
Luke 16:16 “The Law and the Prophets were until John; since then the good news [Gospel] of the KINGDOM of God is preached, and EVERYONE FORCES his way into it."
Revelation 17:14 "They will make war on the Lamb, and THE LAMB WILL CONQUER THEM, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with Him are called and chosen and faithful.”
By seeking the Face of Jesus diligently in prayer made to God the Father, Jesus will CONQUER THE POWERS OF DARKNESS THAT AFFLICT YOU!
Put On the Whole Armor of God, which is the same as "clothing yourself with Christ."
Ephesians 6:10 "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His Might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the Belt of Truth, and having put on the Breastplate of Righteousness, 15 and, as Shoes for your feet, having put on the Readiness given by the Gospel of Peace. 16 In all circumstances take up the Shield of Faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the Helmet of Salvation, and the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, 18 praying at ALL times in the Spirit, with ALL prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with ALL perseverance, making supplication [Prayers for the spiritual and physical needs] for ALL the saints."
Revelation 12:11 "And they have conquered him by the Blood of the Lamb and by the Word of their Testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death."
Matthew 10:34 “Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I HAVE NOT COME TO BRING PEACE, BUT A SWORD." Establish the Kingdom of God in your heart with "ALL of your Heart, Mind and Strength, Amen."
Revelation 2:7 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who CONQUERS I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God." "The Violent Take the Kingdom by FORCE." With ALL of your heart, seek to see the Face of Jesus by continuously asking God the Father to help you see His Face and Help you DEFEAT the devil.
2Timothy 2:12 "If we ENDURE, we will also Reign with Him; if we deny Him, He also will deny us."
Isaiah 1:1-31 "... Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth; for the Lord has spoken: “Children have I reared and brought up, but they have rebelled against Me. The ox knows its owner, and the donkey its master's crib, but Israel does not know, My people do not understand.” Ah, sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, offspring of evildoers, children who deal corruptly! They have forsaken the Lord, they have despised the Holy One of Israel, they are utterly estranged. Why will you still be struck down? Why will you continue to rebel? The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint." Many American churches have OPPOSED establishing the nation with Christian U.S. Law, so that truth and the Gospel may be taught to children to help to save their eternal souls.
John 16:33 "I have said these things to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation. But take heart [be encouraged]; I have OVERCOME the world.”
John 5:39-40 "You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about Me, yet YOU REFUSE TO COME TO ME that you may have Life." SEEK THE LORD WHILE HE MAY BE FOUND! Seek to see the Face of Jesus daily to help you escape from temptations and afflictions and to help fight spiritual warfare.
Matthew 5:10 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven."
For the same grace and God's Blessings that New Testament Christians have in Christ, Old Testament believers were also required to SEEK THE FACE OF JESUS THROUGH WHOM WE SEE THE FACE OF GOD the Father (2Chronicles 7:14).
2CHRONICLES 7:14 "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and SEEK MY FACE, and turn from their wicked ways, [Repentance from sins], then I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
Titus 3:4–7 "But when the kindness of God our Savior and His LOVE for mankind appeared, He saved us — not by WORKS of righteousness that we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
He poured out this Spirit on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that having been justified by His grace, we may become heirs with the hope of eternal life.” Pray to God the Father as Jesus did in the Lord’s Prayer, and as you fast and pray, you will then feel His Joy as the Holy Spirit washes you with His Word.
2Cor. 13:5 "Test yourselves to see if you are in the FAITH.
Examine yourselves.
Or do you yourselves not recognize that Jesus Christ is in you? [You are the "Temple of God's Spirit]
—unless you fail the test." Ask God the Father daily to see the Face of Jesus (1Cor. 13:12), and you will have assurance that you are a Christian as you repent of your sins. As you seek the Face of Jesus, through Whom you see God the Father, as you repent of your sins, you will feel the weight of sins and spirits retreat from you. Those spiritual weights of sin lifting off as you diligently seek the Face of Jesus are all sorts of sins of omission and sins of commission that Christians need to repent of daily in order to be conformed into the "image and likeness" of Jesus. Amen.
Pray to the Father to see the Face of Jesus, His Spirit in you. God KEEPS HIS PROMISES, and He promises you will effectively see Him by seeing the Face of Jesus (John 14:8; 1Cor. 13:12).
"You are the Temple of God."
Jesus said, "I will NOT leave you as orphans, I will come to dwell in you."
Invite Jesus into your heart, begin your intimate lifelong relationship with Him, and you will inherit eternal life.
Matthew 7:21–23 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only the one who does the Will of My Father in Heaven.” [Do the Will of God, your spiritual Father, and have life more abundantly.]
“On that day [time of the eternal judgment], many will say to Me, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in Your Name, drive out demons in Your Name, and do many miracles in Your Name?’ [Failing to pray daily to the Father to see the Face of Jesus and daily fellowship with Him may result in eternal exile from Him.]
Then I will announce to them, ‘I never knew you! Depart from Me, you lawbreakers!’” Many people continue in their sin, but they go to church, and they are unwilling to invite Jesus into their hearts and refuse to listen to the Voice of Jesus and the conviction of their sin by the Holy Spirit.
KJV "Depart from Me, you workers of iniquity.”
The Greek word for "iniquity" is “Anomia,” which means "without law," e.g., lawlessness. Those who break God's Law will have no part in Jesus and His Salvation. Those who continue sinning are breaking God’s Law and will have NO SALVATION and will be cast into the Lake of Fire, or “Outer Darkness” forever. Those who fail to do God’s will, fail to listen to the Voice of Jesus, and fail to be led by the Holy Spirit, will NOT be saved.
1Thessalonians 1:4–5 "Knowing your election, brothers LOVED by God.
For our gospel did not come to you in WORD only, but also in POWER, in the Holy Spirit, and with much assurance.
You know what kind of men we were among you for your benefit." If you pray until you receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit, then you will receive Holy Ghost power (Acts 1:4) and will receive additional gifts of the Spirit if you seek them as Jesus decides. Then, you have God's assurance that you are saved. The gifts of the Holy Spirit and Jesus do not always come immediately. You MUST seek the Greater Gift of the Spirit (1Cor. 12:31). God is looking to see if you actually want His fellowship and are willing to do His Will.
In Acts 1:4 Jesus commanded the disciples to pray for a time (ten days in "one accord") until the Gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out on the disciples who were praying with "one mind" in one accord for ten days until they received God's gracious gifts to equip them to do His ministry of the Great Comission, so Christians will mature and inherit eternal life in New Jerusalem. If you have tarried in prayer and have received the gift of the Holy Spirit, you will receive POWER (Acts 1:8), and you will then have the assurance of receiving eternal life if you endure to the end of this life.
1John 3:18–19 "Little children, we must not LOVE [ONLY] with word or speech, but with TRUTH and ACTIONS.
This is how we will know we BELONG to the TRUTH and will convince our conscience in His presence.” If you want eternal life, learn to discern between good and evil (Hebrews 5:14).
Romans 12:2 "Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may DISCERN what is the GOOD, PLEASING AND PERFECT WILL OF GOD."
DO NOT BE CONFORMED TO THE UNGODLY LIFESTYLES ON TELEVISION. If you are being renewed, becoming a “New Creature” in Christ that is losing interest in worldly ungodly seducing and lying spirits of television networks and even unsubscribe from cable television, then you have assurance that you are saved unto the Kingdom of God and will inherit eternal life if you faithfully continue to sanctify yourself daily and turn away from ungodly influences.
Hebrews 10:22–23 "Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of FAITH, our hearts [having been] sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed in pure water in the Baptism in the Name of Jesus.
Peter, the chief leader of the Jerusalem church of the Hebrew Christians, understood what Jesus said in Matthew 28:18-20 to be baptized in the "Name of Jesus," which is the Name of the Father and the Name of the Son and is the Name of the Holy Spirit. As Acts 1:38 has written, Always baptize in the Name of Jesus as God Commanded, and you will receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit!
The Gift of the Holy Spirit will give you the assurance and POWER to become conformed into the "image and likeness" of Jesus the Son of God.
Let us hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is FAITHFUL.”
John 15:5–8 “I am the Vine; you are the branches.
The one who remains in Me and I in him produces much [spiritual] Fruit, because you can do nothing without Me.
If anyone does not remain in Me, he is thrown aside like a branch, and he withers.
They gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
If you remain in Me and My WORDS remain in you, ask whatever you want and it will be done for you.
My Father is glorified by this: that you produce much fruit and prove to be My disciples.” If you are diligent to be “clothed with Christ,” “The Armor of God,” and ask God your Father to “see the Face of Jesus” (1Cor. 13:12) you will have the assurance that you are saved.
2Peter 1:5–10 "For this very reason, MAKE EVERY EFFORT to supplement your FAITH with Goodness, Goodness with knowledge, knowledge with self-control, self-control with endurance, endurance with godliness, godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with LOVE.
For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they will keep you from being useless or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The person who lacks these things is blind and shortsighted, having forgotten the cleansing from his past sins.
Therefore, brothers, make every effort to confirm your calling and election, because if you do these things, you will never stumble.” If you are diligent to “confirm your calling,” then you are on your Way to eternal life in New Jerusalem.
Philippians 2:12–13 "So then, my dear friends, just as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now even more in my absence, WORK OUT YOUR OWN SALVATION with fear and trembling.
For it is God who is working in you, ENABLING you both to DESIRE and to WORK OUT His good purpose." God will give you the motivation and righteous desire to be led by the Holy Spirit and to do His Will.
1Cor 6:19–20 "Don’t you know that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit Who is in you, whom you have from God?
You are not your own, for you were bought at a price.
Therefore, Glorify God in your body." Make your body, the Temple of God's Holy Spirit, a "Living Sacrifice" as Christ does, and you will have the assurance that you are saved and will inherit eternal life.
Col 3:1–3 "So if you have been raised with the Messiah, seek what is above, where the Messiah is, seated at the right hand of God.
Set your minds on what is above, not on what is on the earth.
For you have died, and your life is hidden with the Messiah in God."
Romans 8:38–39 "For I am persuaded that not even death or life, angels or rulers, things present or things to come, hostile powers, height or depth, or any other created thing will have the power to separate us from the LOVE of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord!” If you draw near to God, He will draw near to you, and you will feel His LOVE in your spirit and life. If you draw near to God and do His Will, you have evidence and the assurance of being saved (James 4:8).
1John 2:15–17 "Do not LOVE the world or the things that belong to the world.
If anyone loves the world, LOVE for God the Father is not in him.
For everything that belongs to the world — the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride in one’s lifestyle — is not from the Father, but is from the world.
And the world with its lust is passing away, but the one who does God’s will remains forever.” It is evidence of your salvation that if you do God’s will daily, then you will remain with Jesus in New Jerusalem forever. If you LOVE the world, its lusts, and pride, then you will NOT BE SAVED. However, God will give you the grace in Jesus to repent daily in this life (God forgives 70 x 7 times daily or even more times if necessary if Christians are being faithful to repent of their transgressions against God).
2Cor 5:21 "He made the One who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” If you accept the righteousness of God in Jesus, then you have evidence that you are being saved and you will inherit eternal life with Him if you endure to the end of life.
Romans 8:1–2 "Therefore, no condemnation now exists for those in Christ Jesus, because the Spirit’s law of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.” If you are regularly being freed from sin, then you have daily evidence that the Law of Life from Jesus is in you, and you are being saved.
1Peter 2:9–10 "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.” If you receive mercy from God and Jesus daily, then you have evidence that you are saved.
Eph. 1:13–14 "When you heard the message of Truth, the Gospel of your salvation, and when you believed in Him, you were also sealed with the promised Holy Spirit.
He is the down payment of our inheritance, for the redemption of the possession, to the praise of His glory.” If you have the Holy Spirit in your heart, then you have evidence that you are being saved as you repent and are being freed from sin.
John 10:27–28 "My sheep hear My Voice, I know them, and THEY FOLLOW ME.
I give them eternal life, and they will never perish — ever!"
No one will snatch them out of My Hand.” If you HEAR in your spirit the Voice of Jesus and are daily led by the Holy Spirit and choose to follow Him, then you have evidence you are a Christian and are being saved. REJOICE that your name written in the "Lamb’s Book of Life."
1John 4:4 "You are from God, little children, and you have conquered them, because the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” Jesus indwelling in Christians gives them authority to conquer the devil (1John 2:14).
Romans 6:4 "Therefore we were buried with Him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in a new way of life.” Christians must walk in the RESURRECTION so we are resurrected as new creatures in Jesus and walk in Him in the new Way of Life, in Truth (John 14:6).
Col. 2:6–7 "Therefore, as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the FAITH, just as you were taught, overflowing with gratitude."
1Cor. 1:30 "But it is from Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became God-given wisdom for us — our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption.” How do you know you are saved? Evidence of godly wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption from sin in a Christian’s life shows that one is saved.
2Cor. 1:21 22 "Now it is God who strengthens us, with you, in Christ, and has anointed us.
He has also sealed us and given us the Spirit as a down payment in our hearts.” God has given His Holy Spirit to dwell in our hearts.
Jesus said, “I and God My Father will come and dwell in believers” (John 14:17-20). Believers must ask for the Holy Spirit to come into them to dwell daily. To invite Jesus to come into believers' hearts and dwell with them in fellowship is necessary for eternal salvation.
Phil. 3:20 "But our citizenship is in Heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.” Jesus was “soon” there bringing God’s Wrath against the Jews who were murdering the Christians with the cooperation of the government of the Roman Empire (Luke 19:27). The divorce decree known as the "Great Tribulation" was the fulfillment of the penalty clause of the Curses of the Law written in Deut. 28:15-64. Although the Jews were separated from God and Jesus, and they are no longer "the chosen people, as Romans 11:23 states, Jesus can again graft the Jews back into the Vine of Life if they accept Jesus the Messiah into their hearts. Amen*
1Peter 1:3–5 "Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
According to His great mercy, He has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead and into an inheritance that is imperishable, uncorrupted, and unfading, kept in Heaven for you.
You are being protected by God’s power through FAITH for an eternal salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time." If you have "God's Power," which depends on your continued prayer to see the Face of Jesus and your endurance, then you will receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit and His Power (Acts 1:38).
Jude 24–25 "Now to Him who is able to protect you from stumbling and to make you stand in the presence of His glory, blameless and with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, power, and authority before all time, now and forever." Amen. Pray that Jesus will protect and help prevent us from stumbling into sin.
Hebrews 12:1–2 "Therefore, since we also have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily ensnares us.
Let us run with endurance the race that lies before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfecter of our FAITH, Who for the JOY that lay before Him ENDURED a cross and despised the shame and has sat down at the right hand of God’s throne."
James 4:17 "Anyone, then, who knows the right thing to do, yet fails to do it, is guilty of sin." If you fail to do what the Holy Spirit is leading you to do, you may eventually lose your salvation if you continue sinning.
"The Wages of Sin is Death," therefore you must repent and stop sinning, and Jesus will forgive you 7x70 times or more times daily as you repent of your sinning, or God will forgive you even more times as necessary, because "God is LOVE."
Those who continue to sin after receiving the truth have NO SACRIFICE of the Lamb of God to cover them, and they become exposed to God's coming terrible Judgment. Those who refuse to repent of ongoing sin will lose their salvation, but "God is NOT willing that any perish," so make an effort in prayer to seek the Face of Jesus, through Whom the Father will draw you unto Himself as you are willing to seek the Face of Jesus.
Hebrews 10:25 "Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have made a habit, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” It is critically essential to frequently attend Church and participate in daily fellowship with the saints. In the gathered Body of believers, it is God’s Will that Christians know they are part of the spiritual Body of Christ and learn to minister to one another with the spiritual gifts that Jesus has given each one, both in the church and in our daily walk with Jesus. In the Church, the gathered Body of believers, one learns to pray for one another, become "one" as Jesus and His Father are "one," and bear the spiritual fruits of God's Love, and are equipped to endure to the end of this life and then inherit eternal life.
Hebrews 10:26 “If we deliberately go on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no further sacrifice for sins remains,
27 but only a fearful expectation of JUDGMENT and of RAGING FIRE that will consume all adversaries."
The Second Death is the eternal torment in the "Lake of Fire."
Hebrews 10:26 states that it is forbidden to continue sinning, as there are severe consequences, including sickness and premature death (Rev. 2:22).
"The way of escape" from demons and the power of sin is to always seek the Face of Jesus (1Cor. 13:12), continually every day.
God always provides a "way of escape" from all sin, supernatural spiritual warfare, and from the temptations to sin (1Cor. 10:13).
"The Way of Escape" from sin and severe spiritual battles is ALWAYS to boldly enter His Presence in prayer to escape the temptations by seeking and seeing the Face of Jesus.
Hebrews 4:16 "Therefore, we should come with boldness to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need.
Jesus encourages believers to come into the presence of God, the Father, with confidence, for mercy and His grace in times of need.
Luke 10:20 "Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven.” If the spirits are subject to you, that is a sign and assurance you are saved, and if you endure to the end of life, you will have eternal life.
Hebrews 12:23 "To the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in Heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect."
Psalm 87:6 "The Lord will count when He registers the peoples,
“This one was born there.” Selah." Pray to be 'born from above', "born-again," so the Lord will register your name in the Lamb's Book of Life.
Isaiah 4:3 "It will come about that he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy—everyone who is recorded for life in Jerusalem." Regularly attend Church (Heb. 10:28), as you become "lively stones" (1Peter 2:5) of New Jerusalem, and you will have the assurance of salvation and will have eternal life if you endure to the end of life.
Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast."
Romans 11:5 "In the same way, at the present time, there is a remnant chosen by grace. 6 And if it is by grace, then it is no longer by works. Otherwise, grace would no longer be grace."
How do you know you are being saved and will potentially have eternal salvation in Heaven in the New Jerusalem? 1) “Rejoice always that your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.” As you do where “two or three” are spiritually praying to “see the Face of Jesus,” the Holy Spirit will CONFIRM in your spirit that you are being saved. And if you endure to the end, you will inherit eternal life! Amen.
This article is an essential APOSTOLIC DOCTRINE of The WORD of God, and it is a matter of Life and Death to make it a part of your life so you may inherit eternal life. "For to those more that has been given, much more will be required" (Luke 12:48).
How can you know how to receive the "Spirit of Truth?"
Answer: John 14:15 "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments! 16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of Truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you do know Him, for He abides with you and will be in you." KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF JESUS AND HE WILL THEN PRAY TO HIS FATHER TO SEND THE ADVOCATE, THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH! If you are not willing to keep the commandments of God and Jesus, then you will NOT get the help of "the Spirit of Truth!"
Seek the Truth while Jesus can still be found...
Hebrews 3:15 "As it is said, “Today, IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.” Seek the Face of Jesus and repent of your sins while time remains for America.
Amen
