Bible Reasons for Attending Church Regularly

Bible Reasons for Attending Church

John 17:20 “I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word,  21 that they may all be ONE, just as you, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.  22 The glory that You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be ONE even as We are ONE,  23 I in them and You in Me, that they may become perfectly ONE, so that the world may know that you sent Me and loved them even as you loved Me."

The importance of attending CHURCH to become "ONE," with other Christians cannot be overstated.  Although "Salvation is by Grace" for believers, for the more mature disciples, sanctification and holiness are required in order to learn to become "ONE" with each other as Jesus and His Father are ONE!

Jesus told ALL His disciples to "become PERFECT as your Heavenly Father is PERFECT" (Mt. 5:48).

Apostle Paul admitted he had not attained to the perfection of God the Father, attending church is a learning experience for disciples to learn to try to be like their Heavenly Father and Creator as much as possible.

2Corinthians 13:11 "Finally, brothers, rejoice!  Aim for perfect harmony, encourage one another, be of one mind, and live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you."

2Corinthians 13:9 "For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection.

Matthew 5:48 "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in Heaven is perfect."

John 17:23 "I in them, and thou in Me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent Me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved Me."

Hebrews 10:24 "And let us consider how to spur one another on to Love and Good deeds.  25 Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have made a habit, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day [of the return of Jesus] approaching.  26 If we deliberately go on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no further sacrifice for sins remains."  The Gospel of Jesus Christ is to save Christians from their sins so Christians learn to become like God and Jesus.

Attending Church regularly helps us learn to exhort and receive encouragement from each other and helps us to repent from our sins.

"The Day:" 1Corinthians 3:13--- "The Day shall declare" every man's work.  Elsewhere we read of "the Day of the Lord" (1Thessalonians 5:2);  "the Day of Christ" (Philippians 1:10).  The words of Jesus to His disciples (in Matthew 24; Luke 17) had enabled all who were willing to hear to understand "the signs of the times."  As the writer gave these warnings, the day when the Son of Man should come in His kingdom, bringing judgment upon Jerusalem (Matthew 16:28), was close at hand---that Day came in the first-century A.D.

As much as possible Christians are Commanded to go to church so we all speak the same things we learn from God and the doctrines of the apostles (Acts 2:41-42).  It is helpful To CONFORM us to the One mind of Christ (1Cor. 2:16), One Soul (In Christ's Soul becoming "ONE" with Him and each other Ephesians 4:4), and One Body of Christ.  "Bringing all thoughts into the obedience of the mind of Christ" (2Corinthians 10:5).

But exhorting one another --- That is, in your assembling together in a direction that proves that it is proper for Christians to exhort one another when they are gathered together for public worship.  Indeed there is reason to believe that the preaching in the early Christian assemblies partakes of much of the character of mutual exhortation to be Christ-like.

Romans 12 lists seven spiritual motivational gifts.

1st Corinthians 12 has 9 spiritual manifestation gifts listed.

Ephesians 4:11 The five-fold ministry gifts of men are listed.

These Scriptures together list 21 fundamental Biblical Gifts essential for the Church Body to be healthy and to function well.

We are all to stand up together as "one" to drive back the "gates of hell."  Holy Spirit's positioning members of the Body of Christ is critical.

The Body of Christ is A Corporate Superpower in spiritual realms and Heavenly places.  The Body of Christ is A Global Superpower

The Body of Christ is true Economics where “He who gathered much had no excess, and he who gathered little had no shortfall.”

Corinthians 8:14 "At the present time, your surplus will meet their need, so that in turn their surplus will meet your need.  Then there will be equality.  15 As it is written: “He who gathered much had no excess, and he who gathered little had no shortfall.”

When individuals are in the right place, led by Jesus the Healing and Healthcare System of God works well.

People should NOT be doing other members' functions or jobs in the Body of Christ.

If one is not in the Holy Spirit's anointing, or in the right lane, then criticism results.

In worshipping and praising God, the corporate Body of Christ's anointing increases the Holy Spirit's presence in unity, the Holy Spirit's presence grows until at a point, the "dew point" breaks, and then everyone is anointed.

The Scripture has written, paraphrased, Christians are to be container bulging to "overflowing" breaking open, and the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the Glory of Jesus with the "Rivers of Life" flowing out of each Christian in the gathering of the Church.

John 1:16 "For of His FULLNESS we have all received, and grace upon grace."

Ephesians 1:22 "And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church."

Ephesians 1:23 "which is His body, the FULLNESS of Him who fills all in all."  The Church is Christ's Body that Jesus wants to fill with His FULLNESS so His Father will be All in All.

Ephesians 4:13 "Until we all attain to the UNITY of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a MATURE man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the FULLNESS of Christ."

Colossians 1:19 "For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the FULLNESS to dwell in Him."

Colossians 2:9 "For in Him all the FULLNESS of Deity dwells in bodily form."

Colossians 2:9-10 "For in Him all the FULLNESS of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority."  Attending Church is usually necessary to being "Made Complete" in Jesus Christ.

John 1:14 "And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, FULL of grace and truth."

It is Good when brothers dwell in UNITY, as ONE, as Jesus and His Father are ONE (John 17:21).

Psalm 133:1 "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brothers to dwell together in UNITY !"

Psalm 122:1 "I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord.”

Psalm 133:2 "It is like the precious oil upon the head [Jesus], Coming down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard, Coming down upon the edge of his robes."  The anointing coming down and resting on all believers is necessary for a revival.

Ephesians 4:3 "Being diligent to preserve the UNITY of the Spirit in the bond of peace."

Ephesians 4:4 "There is ONE  body and ONE  Spirit, just as also you were called in ONE  hope of your calling."

John 17:21 "That they may all be ONE; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.

Colossians 3:14 "Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of UNITY ."

Ephesians 4:13 "Until we all attain to the UNITY  of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.

1Corinthians 1:10 "Now I exhort you, brethren, by the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be made complete in the SAME  MIND and in the SAME  judgment."

Romans 12:4 "For just as we have many members in ONE  Body and all the members do not have the SAME  function."

John 17:23 "I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in UNITY, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me."

Romans 15:5 "Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the SAME  MIND with ONE  another according to Christ Jesus."

Romans 15:6 "So that with ONE  accord you may with ONE  voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Romans 15:9-11 "And for the Gentiles to glorify God for His mercy; as it is written,

“Therefore I will give praise to You among the Gentiles,

And I will sing to Your NAME.”

Again he says,

“Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people.”

And again,

“Praise the Lord all you Gentiles,

And let all the peoples praise Him.”

2Chronicles 30:12 "The hand of God was also on Judah to give them ONE  HEART to do what the king and the princes commanded by the word of the Lord."

Ephesians 1:10 "With a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth..."

1Corinthians 12:12 "For even as the body is ONE  and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are ONE  body, so also is Christ."

Philippians 1:27 "Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear of you that you are standing firm in ONE  spirit, with ONE  mind striving together for the faith of the gospel."

Philippians 2:1-4 "Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, make my joy complete by being of the SAME  MIND, maintaining the SAME  love, united in spirit, intent on ONE  purpose.  Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard ONE  another as more important than yourselves.

Ephesians 4:2 "With all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for ONE  another in love."

1Peter 3:8 "To sum up, all of you be harmonious, sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted, and humble in spirit."

Philippians 2:2 "Make my joy complete by being of the SAME  MIND, maintaining the SAME  love, united in spirit, intent on ONE  purpose."

2Corinthians 13:11 "Finally, brethren, rejoice, be made complete, be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.

Come together in unity, as one as Jesus and His Father are One (John 17:21).

John 17:20 "I am not asking on behalf of them alone, but also on behalf of those who will believe in Me through their message,  21 that ALL of them may be ONE, as You, Father, are in Me, and I am in You.  May they also be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.  22 I have given them the GLORY You gave Me, so that they may be ONE as We are ONE."

Church Corporate HOLY SPIRIT anointing fulfills the Gospel (John 17:21).

Come together in principle in UNITY in the Word of God (John 17:21).

The United States Government and Educational System is changing the vocabulary of the nation as also happened in 1917-1918 by Lenin and by his wife Krupskaya who was appointed to be in charge of public education.

Just as Communist Russia, the USA has started a similar global educational reformation, with intimidation, and silencing of the Judeo-Christian Culture by Fascist Socialism with the power and control of the U.N. World Government.

The public schools today tell the children what to believe, whether it is right or wrong as Krupskaya commanded and the American public schools mirror that indoctrination curriculum of lies, half-truths, and moral perversion today.   Generally, the lies include the evolution of life from amino-acids to human beings, moral sexual perversion TAUGHT about the LGBTQ legally mandated brainwashing that perverts the minds and souls of the children teaching against God and nationalism, and giving themselves over to the coming supersized dark tyranny of the U.N. controlled by enemies of God and America.

In 1917 A.D. Russia was very "woke" and tore down the monuments and statues of their heritage and culture as has happened in the USA.

They actually appointed "thought police" as Google, Facebook, and others control the "woke" language they can speak, tell the people what they can say and what they cannot say, such as U.S. Law banning the Name of Jesus by making it illegal to speak in public schools so as few people as possible will be saved and as many as possible will be doomed to spiritual darkness (Acts 4:12).  Government controls on "free speech" in Twitter, Facebook, and other media all work to brainwash the children to damn their souls forever.  Jesus said it would be better for those who "stumble" and perverted the souls of the children to commit suicide (Luke 17:2).

Luke 17:2 "It would be better for him to have a millstone hung around his neck and to be thrown into the sea than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.  3 Watch yourselves.  If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him."

As the government schools conform the thinking of the students against believing in God, family, and nationalism, they take the children as property of the government, and take them out of the authority of the parents to build a "New Society," a "New World Order,"  a "Global Reset" of total tyranny, an oligarchy of a few elitist people in the U.N. World Government as more and more treaties grow the power the U.N. world government into more spiritual darkness and enable more abuse of power.

2Timothy 3:14-17 "But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from CHILDHOOD you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.  All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for TEACHING, for reproof, for correction, and for TRAINING in righteousness, that the man of God may be COMPLETE, EQUIPPED for every good work."  TRAIN the CHILDREN to be EQUIPPED to walk with God and Jesus.

Ephesians 3:16-19 "That according to the riches of His glory He may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have the strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Matthew 28:19-20 "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the NAME of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, TEACHING them to observe all that I have commanded you.  And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

1Chronicles 25:8 "And they cast lots for their duties, small and great, TEACHER and pupil alike."

Matthew 5:6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied."

James 1:27 "Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world."

The U.N. NWO is a major part of the "Gates of Hell" that is working to overthrow the Church today (Mt. 16:18).

The U.N. is powered by "thug spirits," the spirit of bullying, the spirits of antichrists, and by members of the state religion of civil government who are bullies and tear down and silence Christians.  Civil Government is actually a STATE RELIGION as Thomas Jefferson said to the leaders of Virginia!  People have a choice of serving the antichrist spirit of Civil Government or serving the Holy Spirit of God and Jesus in a Christian nation.

Attending Church is commanded by God and Jesus and more frequently as the end approaches.  "And so much the more as you see the Day approaching" - The term "day" here refers to some event that was certainly anticipated, and which was so well understood by them that no particular explanation was necessary.  It was also some event that was expected soon to occur, and in relation to which there were indications then of its speedily arriving.  If it had not been something that was expected soon to happen, the apostle would have gone into a more full explanation of it and would have stated at length what these indications were.  There has been some diversity of opinion about what is here referred to, many commentators supposing that the reference is to the anticipated second coming of the Lord Jesus to set up a visible kingdom on the earth, and alerted others to the fact that the period was approaching when Jerusalem was to be destroyed, and when the services of the temple were to cease...  So far as the language is concerned, the reference might be to either event, for the word "Day" is applied to both in the New Testament.  The word would properly be understood as referring to an expected period when something remarkable was to happen which ought to have an important influence on their character and conduct.  In support of the opinion that it refers to the approaching destruction of Jerusalem, and to the coming of the Lord Jesus to set up His kingdom in the hearts of Christians, we may adduce the following considerations:

(1) The term used - "Day" - will as properly refer to that event as we do to any other.  It is a word which would be likely to suggest the idea of distress, calamity, or judgment of some kind, for so it is often used in the Scriptures; comp Psalm 27:13; 1Samuel 26:10; Jeremiah 30:7; Ezekiel 21:5; notes Isaiah 2:12.

(2) Such a period the "Day of the Lord" was distinctly predicted by Jesus Our Savior, and spoke of the first-century circumstances which would precede it were clearly pointed out; see Matthew 24.  That event was then so near that Jesus our Savior said, the current generation would not pass away until the prediction had been fulfilled;  Matthew 24:34.  Jesus set up His Kingdom in the first century (Luke 19:27; 1Cor. 15:25; Rev. 1:5).  Jesus is the Ruler of all kings and nations in the lifetime of Apostle John.

(3) The destruction of Jerusalem was an event of great importance to the Hebrews, and to the Hebrew Christians to whom this Epistle was directed, and it might be reasonable to suppose that the apostle Paul would refer to it.

(4) It is not improbable that at the time of writing this Epistle, there were indications that that day was approaching.  Those indications were of so marked a character that when the time approached they could not well be mistaken (see Matthew 24:6-12; 24:24; 24:26), and it is probable that they had already begun to appear.

(5) There were no such indications that the Lord Jesus was about to appear to set up a visible kingdom but He set up an invisible kingdom at its humble beginnings in the first century A.D.  It was a fact that that was about to occur, as the result has shown, see 1Corinthians 4:8.

Millions of Christians have been martyred confessing "Jesus is Lord."  Jesus is the LORD of Lords and the King of Kings and they died confessing Jesus was setting up His Kingdom in their hearts (Mt 10:32-33).

The expectation is the "SOON" destruction of Jerusalem was referred to and was about to occur, was just what might be expected to produce the effect on the minds of the Hebrew Christians that the apostle here refers to.  It was to be a solemn and fearful event.  It would be a remarkable manifestation of God.  It would break up the civil and ecclesiastical polity of the nation and would scatter them abroad.  It would require all the exercise of their patience and faith in passing through these scenes.  It might be expected to be a time when many would be tempted to deny Jesus is Lord and apostatize.  It was important, therefore, to exhort them to meet together and to strengthen and encourage each other as they saw that the Apocalypse was drawing near.  The argument then would be this.  The danger against which the apostle desired to guard those to whom he was writing was, that of apostasy from Christianity to Judaism.  To preserve them from this, he urges the fact that the downfall of ceremonial Judaism was near in their lifetimes, and that every indication that they saw of its approach ought to be allowed to influence them and to guard them against that danger.  Attending Church regularly as the end of America approaches attending church is commanded for the same reasons.  You need the strength of Jesus and His Body, which is the Church, to walk and obey Jesus until the end.

Psalms calling us to assemble together.

The Psalms of Ascent(s) have also been called the Song of Degrees, the Pilgrim Songs, as well as the Gradual Psalms. They are named this because of the phrase appearing before each psalm in Psalms 120-134.  Each is called "a song of ascent" at the beginning of the psalm.  The Hebrew term is maʿalot which means "going up." They were going up to the house of the Lord, church today, to praise and worship God and Jesus.  In the New Testament, the Church worships in "Heavenly places" and goes up to Heaven as God and Jesus are worshipped (Ephesians 1:3, 20; 2:6; 3:10; 6:12).

The Songs of Ascent is a special group of psalms comprising Psalms 120—134 singing the joy and blessings of assembling together in the Body of Christ in then the Jerusalem Temple and today in churches those psalms of entering the presence of Jesus are just as important.  They are also called Pilgrim Songs.  Four of these songs are attributed to King David (122, 124, 131, 133) and one to Solomon (127), while the remaining ten are anonymous.  The city of Jerusalem is situated on a high hill of Mt Zion/Mt Moriah.  The Psalms of Ascent are songs about going up to the Temple in Jerusalem to worship, or today worshipping God and rising in their spirit to the assembly in Heavenly Places worshipping God and Jesus.

Ephesians 5:19 "Speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.  Sing and make music in your hearts to the Lord,  20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ."  It is especially important to worship together in Church, learning to become "One," with one another as Jesus is One with His Father.

Worshipping God through Jesus singing Psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs is COMMANDED by the Holy Spirit for our spiritual mental health and well-being.

1Corinthians 14 gives God's Will for what is to occur in today's church services.

1Corinthians 12 has written Christians need to learn to function as God has endowed each with gifts to be an eye or foot or whatever part of the Body of Christ.

Acts 16:25 "About midnight Paul and Silas were PRAYING and SINGING HYMNS to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.  26 Suddenly a strong earthquake shook the foundations of the prison.  At once all the doors flew open and everyone’s chains came loose."  PRAYING AND SINGING HYMNS brought freedom and release from prison for Paul and Barnabas.

Colossians 3:15 "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, for to this you were called as members of one body.  And be thankful.  16 Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.  17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do it ALL in the Name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."

In the assembly in Church: "Teaching and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God."  Teaching and admonishing one another with ALL WISDOM singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with thanksgiving and gratitude in your heart to God for His gift of Jesus.

Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it."

Children need church schools, Christian schools where the Way to God and eternal life through Jesus and His Gospel are diligently TAUGHT.

Ephesians 6:4 "Fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath; instead, bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."

Deuteronomy 4:9 "Only be on your guard and diligently watch yourselves, so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen, and so that they do not slip from your heart as long as you live.  Teach them to your children and grandchildren."  Teaching the children in Church, as well as at home, is commanded by God and Jesus.

Deuteronomy 11:19 "Teach them to your children, speaking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up."  Teaching children at every opportunity 24/7 the Apostles' Doctrine everywhere possible is commanded by God and Jesus.

Deuteronomy 4:9  "Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live.  TEACH them to your CHILDREN and to their CHILDREN after them."

Christians are COMMANDED to TEACH the CHILDREN the WORD and precepts of God and Jesus in a Christian environment.

Luke 6:40 "The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher."  Jesus COMMANDS ALL disciples, including children to be DILIGENTLY TAUGHT to be like Him.

Psalms 18:33 "He makes my feet like those of a deer and stations me upon the heights.  34 He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze. 35 You have given me Your shield of salvation; Your right hand upholds me, and Your gentleness exalts me."

Titus 2:3 "Older women, likewise, are to be reverent in their behavior, not slanderers or addicted to much wine, but teachers of good.  4 In this way they can train the young women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled, pure, managers of their households, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, so that the WORD of God will not be discredited."  The command of God is to teach each other 24/7 whenever and wherever possible the Apostles' Doctrine.

1Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness,  17 so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work."  Scripture must be used for instruction, for conviction of sin and for correction and training in righteousness so we may be completed, fully equipped for every good work the Holy Spirit calls us to do.  Churches must become equipping centers, equipping the saints for this life and for the life to come in eternity.

Eph. 4:12  "To equip the saints for the work of service, for the building up of the body of Christ."

Church is a place where God equips the saints with Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors-Teachers, and other necessary gifts for the ministry of Jesus:

Ephesians 4:11 "And it was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers,  12 to equip the saints for works of ministry and to build up the body of Christ,  13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, as we mature to the full measure of the stature of Christ."

1Peter 5:4 "And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of GLORY that will never fade away.  5 Young men, in the same way, submit yourselves to your elders.  And all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”  6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, so that in due time He may exalt you."  Humble yourselves by OBEYING JESUS and going to Church and learning to "Love one another" as Jesus commands Christians.  Learning to love each other and the unlovable can be a humbling experience!

There are many biblical reasons for attending Church, for example, how can we "Love One Another" if we stay away from the weekly assembly of Christians?  We MUST learn to love each other and attend church learning as much as possible about the Apostles' Doctrine. The assembling together is commanded by God and Jesus to achieve God's training for each disciple/Christian.

Being conformed into the "image and likeness" of Jesus Christ and becoming the "Bride of Christ" is what the Creator desires of us and it is our responsibility to seek His Face (1Cor 13:12; 2Chron 7:14) to help enable us to do His Will and obtain His Blessings.

John 17:21 "I am not asking on behalf of them alone, but also on behalf of those who will believe in Me through their message,  21 that all of them may be ONE, as You, Father, are in Me, and I am in You.  May they also be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.  22 I have given them the glory You gave Me, so that they may be ONE as We are ONE."

Only by attending Church may you obtain the Glory of Jesus to become ONE with each other as Jesus and His Father are ONE.  Attending Church is the ONLY WAY to learn to become ONE with one another as Jesus and His Father are "ONE."

Galatians 6:6 "Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word must share in all good things with his instructor.  7 Do not be deceived: God is not to be mocked.  Whatever a man sows, he will reap in return.  8 The one who sows to please his flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction;  but the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life."  If one sows his time, and service ministry in the church, one will more accurately become "ONE" with Jesus and one with others as God and Jesus have commanded.

Attending Church is very much part of fulfilling God's "Greatest Commandments."

Matthew 22:37 "Jesus declared, “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’  38 This is the First and Greatest Commandment.  39 And the Second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’"  Amen
